I totally love Hell's Kitchen. He's the nastiest piece of work I've seen and I love it ....as long as it's towards someone else that is. I don't know how some of these people can take the shite he gives out to be honest. I'd of hit him over the head with an iron skillet but I reckon they must want to win badly.
I missed this weeks show and was gutted. It looked like one of the best ones so I have to look and see if it's been capped by anyone. I saw the preview and he was slinging the abuse out more than usual and I think someone gave him some good cheek back. That's the bit I wanted to see most, how he handles it when it's slammed back in his corner.
I don't know if anyone watched the Beckhams World Cup party but he was the one who did the menu for it. He wasn't allowed to be in the kitchen and had to basically promise to stay clear and enjoy the shindig. I reckon they didn't want the guests hearing him spewing out the usual...

Gervais, Murray sign for prime-time
Ricky Gervais and Al Murray have signed deals for prime-time ITV comedies. Gervais is to make a televised version of his Flanimals children?s books, while Al Murray will host a comedy chat show as well as two one-off specials. The new deals are part of the network?s drive to forge a reputation for comedy, a genre where it has traditionally struggled.
Gervais will work with two animators from Wallace and Gromit?s Aardman studios to develop his six-episode Flanimals series, set to air on Sunday evenings. However ITV comedy chief Paul Jackson insisted the programme ? which Gervais is currently writing - wasn?t going to be solely aimed at children.
Speaking at the Broadcasting Press Guild lunch, he said : ?It is something for all the family. Think of Walking with Dinosaurs and Ricky Gervais doing David Attenborough talking in hushed tones. He will do the narration and possibly some of the creatures.? And asked whether the show might open the door for Gervais to produce future shows for the network, he admitted: 'I would be stupid if I didn't hope that.'
The third book in Gervais' series,...

Here is the cake I make for my husband's birthday. It's rich but worth it!
1 1/2 cups butter
(no substitutes)
6 squares ( 1 oz. each)
unsweetened chocolate
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
FROSTING:
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each)
semisweet baking chocolate
3 cups whipping cream
2 milk chocolate candy bars, shaved
In a microwave or double boiler, melt butter and chocolate.
Stir in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla, flour and salt; mix well.
Pour into three greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 23-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire rack to cool completely.
For frosting, melt chocolate in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Gradually stir in cream until well blended. Heat to a gentle boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat, transfer to a mixing bowl. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until mixture reaches a
pudding-like consistentcy, stirring...

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 yellow onion, cut into slices 1/4 inch thick
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes,
thinly sliced
2 zucchini, thinly sliced lengthwise with a
vegetable peeler
2 cups baby arugula
4 oz. goat cheese, crumbled
Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
8 oz. fresh fettuccine
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat.
Meanwhile, in a large fry pan over medium-high heat, warm 2 Tbs. of the olive oil. Add the onion and cook, stirring often, for 1 minute. Add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion starts to caramelize, 7 to 8 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, arugula, the remaining 2 Tbs. oil, three-fourths of the goat cheese and the red pepper flakes to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Salt the boiling water, add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain well, add to the bowl with the vegetables and toss gently to combine.
Transfer to warmed pasta bowls and sprinkle with the remaining...
