download links? Sounds good - do you have them?

I watched "We could be heroes" recently and thought it was great, so any more new Oz-coms would be good.

Gervais to film Extras episode at BAFTAs
Author: faceless :: Posted: Wed May 03, 2006 1:29 pm

Comedian Ricky Gervais will be working overtime at Sunday's Bafta Television Awards - he's filming an episode of his award-winning TV show Extras during the ceremony. Gervais and his Extras co-star Ashley Jensen will be present at the London event in character as wannabe stars Andy and Maggie.

Gervais, best known for sitcom The Office, says: "Everyone else is going on a freebie but I'm working that night. We've set a new episode of Extras at the Baftas so Ashley and me are going to be filming at the awards. I've already won six Baftas so that's enough. If Extras wins it's a bonus but if not we will get a lot of stuff in the can. I've got a lot of work to do that night."

Gervais and his writing partner Stephen Merchant will circle the event at Grosvenor House, hoping to catch clips of unwitting stars saying or doing suitable things for episode.

Weird Things

From the attic came an unearthly howl. The whole scene had an eerie, surreal quality, like when you're on vacation in another city and "Jeopardy" comes on at 7pm instead of 7:30.

Crying haha

Catherine Tate to star in new comedy drama
by Neil Wilkes

Catherine Tate is to appear in a new one-off comedy drama based on a Kate Long novel. The Bad Mother?s Handbook, airing on ITV, tells the story of a year in the lives of three generations of women - 17-year old Charlotte, her mum Karen, and her Nan - none of whom "can quite believe how things have turned out".

Signing Tate - one of the BBC's biggest stars - is a major coup for ITV and comes just days after the broadcaster signed up Dragon's Den star Peter Jones on an exclusive contract.

?Catherine is one of Britain?s hottest comedy and acting talents," said Paul Jackson, ITV's director of entertainment and comedy. "We are thrilled to be bringing her to ITV1 as a leading lady.?

I'm sure this will be good - she's an excellent actor.

The town here in Scotland where two swans were found dead from the virus a few weeks back is now a tourist attraction... Apparently loads of people thought the place looked really nice on the news and got attracted to it!

Weird how things go eh?

Well I guess people aren't all that paranoid about it then. I'm not sure if this bird virus is all hype or a real threat to people.

I may watch the movie. I saw the film Outbreak years ago and didn't get too freaked out. Although seriously some viruses and bacteria can be pretty damn scary.
