But it's not going to be instant. It's government and the one thing you learn about working for government is you hurry up and wait.

Unless there's a war to be started... how long after 9/11 was the invasion of Afghanistan? 2 months?

I agree with you there. But once again, you have to look at the congress at the time and the circumstances. This is sadly going to take time. I wish it wouldn't but it will. At least the American people are making sure their voices are being heard and that we are tired of this and want it to stop. I just know that the dems and many of Bush's own party are not happy with his recent ideas on the war. I have no feel for this congress yet so I (and everyone else) will have to wait and see what happens.

Edit: And if you don't think the hurry up and wait game wasn't being played...

looks to me like they have given up on education education education, as they for the most part have given up with any sort of socialist idea since Thatcher denied that society existed.

for the most part they are a greedy bunch of bastards who care for their political career before the folk who elected them. They should talk to the people who elected them more often, they should listen to their conscience more often to renew the evidently slippery grip on reality their "position of power" has shunned. But they are too greedy for that. They should look to the "Beast of Bolsover" and dare I say it, GG, for guidance, but they won't. They'd rather crawl up el presidente's arse first.

To opt out of a system that relies on their political beliefs, but is failing because of their strategy is lazy hypocrisy and athletic greed at it's worst. It gets better, her husband is vice chairman of the state school "not good enough", maybe that is a reflection of her former "position of power" as education secretary.

Remember that precedent setter Harriet Harman,

Good point.... those side windows do look a little small. Can't say I like it much myself, but then I tend to go for more conventional vehicles.

Robin Ince podcasts
Author: faceless :: Posted: Thu Jan 11, 2007 4:11 pm

Robin Ince is probably best known for being Ricky Gervais first sidekick. Before Karl Pilkington came along, he was the one that was abused and humiliated for public entertainment... What a claim to fame eh? haha

The first show also features Josie Long and Howard Read, who you might not know but they are both highly regarded in the UK standup scene.
