There is no or litttle democracy in Iraq, therfore one can not say that the "democracy project" in Iraq failed. The US presence is still strongly undermining Iraqi public opinion. The 1st thing the US did after the elections was to undermind what the iraqis strongly wanted, namly to get a table for withdrawl. The US never wanted free elections, they vetoed 3 times agains a propusal for democracy by Sistani. It lead to massive peacefull demostrations and forced the US to finaly accept elections.
So the Iraqi people want democracy, they want freedom, but a kind of freedom our politicians cant even understand...... they want freedom from us.(quote from R.Fisk)

Wouldn't that be pretty much any city?

@ Faceless... Score m8.
Pretty low scores at that....
Not hard to have double them scores in a game... again, it's like kindergarten rugby for kids with A.D.D...
===============================
As for Prince....
Not as bad as Sir Paul playing & certainly no wardrobe malfunctions...
It wasn't too shabby 1/2 time show wise in that weather.
The game itself yesterday... SUCKED, but then I tend to feel the same about the game in general all year.

I just went back to re-view it (for old-time's sake) and I see it has now been "removed by the user".
(BTW I thought it was real too.)

I would like to see Peggy having another storyline with Honey's dad. That was quite good. |
I didn't think about that possibility, but it could be interesting. At the very least, some sort of love interest for her would be good. I'm getting a little bored with her just serving drinks and telling everyone to get of her pub or sling their hooks. |
Same here. If she's not trying to keep a tab on Ben, she's minding the taps and telling people to get out or calm down. It's a shame really because she is such a good character.
And while I don't really like Honey I would like to see more of Billy and Honey with the baby now that they are attempting to adjust to it all. I could care less bout the Dawn baby stuff and the Stacey and Max storyline makes...

I also suspect the movie will be less satisfying than the series. You can achieve much more in 24 1-hour episodes than you can in a 2-3 hour movie in terms of plot and character development.
I'm pretty sure I'll watch it, in any case. It depends how this season plays out.
