Yeah, I don't think this recipe would be very good without evaporated milk. I didn't realize that's not widely available. I got it in London for cooking. I'd have no idea what to substitute for it :grr:

The most important thing is the bread.... it has to be good fresh cooked crusty bread, cut in thick slices.
I like good Granary bread.

Yeah I've thought about that as well like years ago and being the sickness I am I had to take it a step further and try to picture it. I couldn't look at them the same for a good while after that

I think they may have picked a poor choice of venue to interrupt. I'd be peeved if the lottery was interrupted. It's that many more minutes I'm screwed out of thinking I could be a millionaire. When it comes to money, ya just don't mess with that sort of thing......LOL!!
