I rather suspect that it has to do with advertising revenues....... in light of the war, I don't think many companies would advertise on Al Jazera..... but I think a lot of Americans will check it out on the internet on the sly!

 The guy has an obvious sense of humor as well as a good sense for business. I hope people can use their brains and see what it is for itself and not sue the guy like they do McDonalds.
