Generally speaking, I find most sea creatures beautiful LOL Not in the cuddly squeezey huggy kind of way, but beautiful/cute nonetheless LOL. Its so ugly its beautiful kind of way.

serves 4 (make extra)
1 lb. wild mushrooms (I use 1/2 lb. cremini as they are less expensive & then 1/2 lb. of what's available, ie. woodear, morels, chanterelles
4 oz. (1 stick) butter
3 cups milk
2 tbs. flour
salt & pepper to taste
3-4 tbs heavy cream
clean mushrooms- brush or wipe wipe with a moist cloth
chop mushrooms
heat pot, add 2 oz. butter
when foamy add mushrooms, cover and cook for 10 min.
add milk
add remaining butter
whisk in flour - I use a hand held blender, but only for a few secs, don't want the shrooms pulverized
cook approx. 5 min.
add salt & pepper to taste
simmer 2-3 mins
add cream
stir & serve

OOPS! I meant to write I used 2 pkgs. of squash each weighing 1 1/2 lbs., for a total of 3 lbs.

the difference between Fred's method, and the 911 towers, is that Fred started a fire at the base of the tower and the method favoured in New York was that the fire was started at the top.
GG says regularly the if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it is very probably a duck.
I'd say that the official version quacks away madly. It is one of the few issues that I'll disagree with GG, but I think I can understand why he takes his view. 911 is secondary to what is happening in Palestine. If there was no Palestine problem, there would have been no 911.
Sort out Palestine then get Cheyney and co. Only my opinion.

I know the guy was also afraid of being deported, though I don't know why, since he has a permanent resident card. I think it would be scarier to wander day and night on the streets of Jamaica than to go into a store and ask for some help. It did say he can communicate in English. The poor soul probably has some mental problems as well. I'm just glad someone saw that he wasn't okay and took the extra step to find out if he was okay. That is a rarity for folks to go that extra mile for a stranger.

Too right, Irish! I don't care how well she was telling him to steer, or even helping out, she can't help him brake now can she? She's as much to blame as he is. |
I think he should get some extra disability money for being blind and mentally disabled. Perhaps the wife can get some disability too. That is absolutely crazy!!
