I've also seen it the other way round though. One doctor I worked for literally lost sleep worrying about patients when parents wouldn't do the right thing, like one girl I did a field test on. The doctor told the father she needed to go to emergency immediately and had already called the neurologist on call to set up a cat scan because there were worrisome abnormalities in the field test that were so obvious. The girl was having serious headaches and very blurred vision and some other symptoms.

The father out and out refused and said the doctor didn't know what he was talking about. This girl could have died that night and the doctor told him the severity of what could happen but he couldn't be arsed to take her.

The doctor I worked for came in the next day with no sleep at all and cancelled his appointments to call authorities to see what could be done to force the father into taking his daughter. That's what I call a man that took his oath seriously.

It's still rather odd in our house, we (The wife & I) have watched some great UK TV shows & a few movies (also UK stuff) but we both agree it's not the same.

Weird how a TV show can cause such feelings of loss, we chatted about it in depth & it seems that it's more the Lil' brother, C B B, Big Mouth all back to back rather than just the main show tho'....

We watched the "Secret Policemans Ball 2006" last night & saw Russel doing a bit of ranting (can't call it stand up).
Both decided that outside of Big Mouth he's fairly crap (apart from his stint on the big quizz of 2006, but he wasn't on his own then).

so you ARE satisfied... as such!!!

To an extent yes. I'm not at a huge percentage rate. Personally, I want to get a higher degree so I can get out of the publication education sector persay. Instead of working directly for the schools I would rather be able to contract with the schools and also do more family and child counseling on my own. Sadly, my hands are still tied a lot by current laws and the pay isn't that great. But until I get off my lazy arse to get that PhD in psychology I'll be there working my hardest to help the kids!
