| Fergie slams Lille 'disgrace' |

ALEX FERGUSON blasted Lille's "disgraceful intimidation" after they briefly walked off in protest at Manchester United's winner.
Ryan Giggs sparked fury from the French hosts with his perfectly legitimate 83rd minute free-kick - curled home after he asked referee Eric Braamhaar if he could take it quickly.
The tie was already facing a UEFA probe after around 100 United fans were crushed against security barriers early in the first half.
And controversy flared again when a Lille coach ushered his side off.
Most of the home players trouped away to the dug-out area.
United skipper Gary Neville tried to talk them back on - but was furiously ordered away by visiting boss Ferguson.
Lille, however, eventually returned as United held on to win the first-leg tie 1-0.
Fergie said: "I've never seen anything like it - it was complete intimidation.
"It was a disgrace - UEFA have to do something about it."
Lille were already fuming at seeing a Peter Odemwingie header ruled out for a foul - but replays suggested he had fouled Nemanja Vidic.

... ah! Wimbledon, ... you don't realise what you've got till it's gone. An amazing story, probably a film will be made about them one day. I couldn't imagine a team in modern day football coming from nowhere like the Don's did.
.... mmm ... maybe Gretna!

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the Flower and Jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as: Football 5.0, Rugby 4.3 and Cricket 3.0. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs; it simply crashes the system.
I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, to no avail.
What can I do?

First keep in mind; Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System.
Try entering the command: C:/I-THOUGHT-YOU-LOVED-ME to download Tears 6.2, which should automatically install Guilt 3.0. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy...

I think you hit it on the head with the "frosty" description. I have had quite a few elderly neighbors who fit that description. You get afraid to approach them!
My mother is 76 and lives in an apartment complex with all 55+. Many of her neighbors are so paranoid that someone is going to break in and steal their stuff and kill them they growl at anyone who tries to befriend them! Sadly, they aren't too far off the mark. How many stories of elderly people murdered end up with someone who befriended them?
I would think the postal worker would have noticed something was up when the mail was piling up in the box (unless they had a mail slot)

Couldn't agree more Cori. It is and has become a very down and depressing daily saga. I think comedy storylines, occasionally, might be too much of a stretch for their writers. I do like EE, but since I started Corrie a few years back would much rather enjoy it 5 days per week.
| cori wrote: | | Doubt that EE can match the storylines and comedy that Corrie has, so why bother with a 5th. show, so that we can see Max dogging Stacey, or Bob screwing Dawn & May at the same time?? Duh! While I like my EE, enough is enough unless the scripts improve, tooooooo much doom and gloom, and on that note isn't it time for Ben & Stella to also depart into the TV abyss! |

Hi! Faceless
I'm not really into comedy. I'd never buy an album of comedy. I never watch sitcom's on T.V.
I'm a news and political junkie.
Here is a list of my audio/visual news junkie stuff.
