I LOVE Iron Maiden!! Their shows in South America are always sketchy, due mostly to the local layout of the venue and such as opposed to something the banc has done. They are so loved down there that it is always a big deal when they go.

I love Ron Smallwood's shameless plug of a new Maiden movie. I will have to keep an eye out.

The Swedish fans at the Metallica show a couple of nights ago acted much better when they got word, only a few mins before the show was supposed to start, that it was cancelled due to the hospitalization of James Hetfield. Guess the Swedes are just a little more laid back...and not opposed to buying their tickets!!

I was a big fan of them in the 80s. The riff from 'Phantom of The Opera' which featured in an advert for Lucozade, which had Daley Thompson in it, was what got me into them.

I had all their albums and then they released 'Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter' and I just couldn't be arsed with them any more...

Yeah, I think that was my turning point as well. There have been the odd song here and there since, but as a whole, my Iron Maiden world ends with 7th Son of a 7th Son and even that one is pushing the envelope a little. But I do love them....UP THE IRONS!!
