EE : Christmas Episode

Post by eefanincan »

So, was it what everyone thought it would be? Although I enjoyed it, I can't say it was as exciting as I thought it would be, but having Nick show up at the end should mean some interesting storylines ahead.

Hmmmmm.... I wonder if Nick and Janine will get together? Now that would be an interesting pair

I didn't think the jig would be up for Jack Branning so quickly. I especially loved Suzi's high school like taunting of everyone at the table. That was most amusing. I loved it. She didn't bat an eye! lol! That was my favorite part! lol!

I'm not so sure Janine would get together with Nick unless he was dipped in diamonds and gold...lol! She's a class A gold digger, not that I know of any personally....lol! They are sort of making her look like she is turning herself around into a nice person, but I don't believe that for a minute. No one changes that fast.....lol!

While I thought the episode was fun, I don't think it was that exciting either. I actually thought today's episode was a bit better

Regardless, it was a fun episode. I personally loved everyone taking the mick out of Christian and his vests (YOU'RE SIMPLY THE VEST!) and seeing Ian be nice was great as well. Shame I know they will reboot him in the New Year.

The Thursday and Friday episodes all kind of ran together for me but I liked them all. Seeing Nick Cotton return with a little daughter in tow was funny. Seems like Dot's doorbell rang dozens of times on Christmas. I enjoyed when Ian and Dot were looking at films of the past with Lou Beale and Pauline. Mister Showbiz, Ben himself, telling Suzie "you've got two minutes to get out" was a scream. She faked him out though, huh? When did Suzie put the paternity test results in the cracker? I liked that Roxie ended up being truthful about Amy's father in the end. Christmas 2008 wasn't as explosive as Christmas 2007 when all the residents of the Square were gathered at the Brannings and found out about Max and Stacy's affair while watching it on DVD, with Max dressed as Father Christmas. It didn't compare to Christmas 2006 when Pauline dropped dead but all in all Christmas 2008 in the Square was good for me.

I've missed alot with my puter being down but was really glad to have it back in time for x-mas on the Square. It might just be me but I thought Roxy should have been more apologetic to Ronnie after the secret came out, she just seemed like,"yeah I slept with Jack and he's my baby's daddy, get over it". I'm glad to see the back side of Suzy and dinner at the Beales was fun watching.

I know I am a little late on this one, but I have just caught up and didn't want to read any of the topics until I had. I thought this Christmas was a good one. Sort of a calm follow up to last years big bang. They sorta go in cycles...this year's should be a doozy! I can't say that I am sorry to see Suzy go, and although I know this will be unpopular, I am sorry to see Sean go. He added a bit of spice.
