Anne Robinson is a selfish hag!

"Michael McGoldrick, mitigating, said Robinson had not seen the camera as she was disorientated by the road system on her first ever visit there." Of course, that justifies it all then - ffs!

Also, this bit from the judge "I am sorry she won't have a very pleasant memory of her first visit to Portsmouth" just boggles the mind. I wonder if he's so concerned about other selfish bastards who put people's lives at risk?

I read it as the judge was being sarcastic. Like "I am sorry she won't have pleasant memories, but she is getting what she gets"...

ah right, maybe so - and considering the way she slags off Wales maybe he was pre-empting her for future comments she'd make about Portsmouth...

Anglesey Road :)

4 points? I got three today, bastards, after driving at 91 kph in a 60 zone. 100 fuckin' euros down the pan too. After darlin' Annies tax I s'pose I got off light -- but it didn't feel that way when I opened the blinkin' envelope ...

20mph over the limit makes you a hag too! haha

Seriously though, having come close to death on numerous occasions because of speeders, it's no joke...

I have been driving since I was 18 (I was in boarding school when I turned 16, so there was no point) and I had never had a speeding ticket until I got the Mini...then I had 2 within 6 months of each other. The speed just sorta snuck up on me . I now know that I have to keep a better eye on the Mini, it is much faster than anything else I have ever owned.

I honestly do try to drive well.

After receiving the fine I talked to the guys at work, they all had been done at this spot or knew someone who had. It's a trap, pure and simple.
