I'll try and get this posted tomorrow night - looks like it should be nice and sensationalist!

Nope, it's Panorama. I think the thing you're talking about is on Channel 4, but I'm not certain.

After reading the above a bit more .... I dont get it ......I dont get how this happens in this day and age .....They use the excuse of coming from crack head mothers etc etc ..... yet they have the welfare and social workers these days ....to supposedly stop this from happening ...
I am an old school beaten up child from a Skank mother ..i cant tell u how many stitches i have had cos of her drunken violence .......I had no 800 numbers to go to for help .......I raised all my family from i was 8 years old ......cooking and laundry included .... and beatings if i did not do it ........ I just dont understand whats happening these days .......I raised my self 2 perfect children and have three beautiful grandchildren .......all i ever wanted in life ... was not to be like where I had come from .......Mistakes i have made I admit....... but nothing as mega as what my mum did to me .......and all my mistakes were on myself .......no one else ........God help these kids .....lawd knows they need help .......... :(

Good for you Aja. I think that people who have a shitty upbringing go one of two ways. They either carry on the same way or they go the complete oppostite. Well done to you for doing the latter.

I agree with you Shillax, they either use their bad upbringing as a crutch or a backbone. Good for you Aja for using it as your backbone.
