I don't know how they expect to keep the character of the show going if they get rid of this important character! Seriously, he could have just disappeared overnight and I doubt anyone would have noticed.

His character was ground breaking and made a big impact? I don't think that was the case. Also, why is it they say his arrival as the gay medic raised eyebrows? Do gay men raise people's eyebrows? I didn't see any eyebrow raising, and why should there be? It's not the early 1900's fer cryin' out loud...LOL!! Nice article though. He seemed like a nice guy, but too normal for Sean. I would've seen a personality like Sean's being annoying to him. I think Sean needs someone a bit flamboyant like himself. Marcus was a bit dull and boring.

And what about the "steamy gay love affair" ? Don't recall it being that steamy myself.

Oh, I like Marcus, I thought he was the right balance for Sean's flamboyance. I thought the support he gave to Sean during the pregnancy and when Violet took off was touching. But I wouldn't call him a Corrie star.
