EE: Ben is a selfish little...

...bast@rd. And I can't find the Where's Ben thread so I'm going to have to start this one. When Stella was torturing Ben, Abi Branning was up his butt waist deep encouraging him to expose Stella and stop the abuse. But Ben has been so selfish he hasn't once helped Abi while her parents are going through this awful time. I have not heard Ben offer any help at all. Why? Because Ben hasn't been on EastEnders for 6 months. What's up with that?

He's been on the last few days, but we're not seeing him with Abi right now. Instead we're seeing another attempt of Phil to "Make a Mitchell out of him" and him trying to get his dad and Shirley together. Which makes no sense.

At first, I thought the Shirley + Phil thing was something the writers would NOT do to the viewers: Shirley is soooo not Phil's type, but then again, neither was Stella (compared to Kathy, Kate et. al.), so they might get together after all. Yuck.

Oh God, Phil and Shirley together would be like a car accident that you can't not look at. They'd be getting drunk and knocking off liquor stores and it'd be a homicide waiting to happen. Not like a murder/suicide, but more like murder/murder because they WOULD kill each other.

When Phil told Ben that he's okay with the fact that Ben doesn't want to do Boxing and that he should do whatever hobby he enjoys doing, I thought I saw Ben smiling when he was looking at a musical.....Am I going insane? Are they insinuating that he is showing signs of being gay? Maybe I'll rewatch that part...LOL!! Anyway, I agree, Ben is a little bastard, and I don't know if he will change his little bastard ways!

they're not just suggesting he's going to be gay, they're suggesting he's going to be stereotypically gay - when you see him with a Liza Minelli poster the game will be up! haha

I don't think they are leading him to be gay, but not a manly Mitchell, which is bad enough for Phil.
