PSYCHO David Platt leaves his mum Gail fighting for life after hurling her down the stairs.

The teenager reacts with fury when he discovers she has taken his girlfriend Tina McIntyre to an abortion clinic.

A Corrie insider revealed: “These are some of the most dramatic scenes of the year. David’s rage is off the dial.

“Normally he takes his time plotting revenge on his enemies but on this occasion he snaps.

“He literally throws Gail down the stairs and she is knocked out cold.”

His anger erupts when he finds Tina (Michelle Keegan, 20) has aborted their baby without even telling him she’d become pregnant.

Our source added: “Gail understands exactly what Tina is going through. They both agree David shouldn’t be told about the baby and eventually Tina decides to go through with an abortion.”

Tricks

But their secret is revealed when David (Jack P Shepherd, 20) overhears them talking.

Gail (Helen Worth, 57) recovers physically from the attack but her memory starts to suffer.

And that allows David (Jack P. Shepherd, 20) to play tricks with her mind and make her doubt what happened.

haha, that David character is great. What an evil (and almost believable) little shite they've made him!

I wanted to punch him on Monday, then remembered it was just a soap and I was a bit drunk...

I like David's character because it's so realistic to today's little bastards...LOL!! He always finds new ways to torture his mother.
