MANEATER Clare isn’t fussy about who she pulls .....

MANEATER Clare isn’t fussy about who she pulls as long as they’re loaded!

So the sexy blonde targets hapless, but wealthy, businessman Ian. She steals a kiss from the café owner and Ian is mesmerised by her!

Clare’s set on netting one of Walford’s richest men, so she vamps it up to lure Ian away from Jane.

“Clare knows Ian is married!” says Gemma Bissix, who plays her. “But that makes it more of a challenge.” At the start of the week, Ian has a treatment for his back at Booty.

Clare flirts outrageously with Ian while she massages him.

Clare also offers to help Ian with a catering contract and invites him to dinner at Dot’s to discuss it. Eager Ian accepts!

She plies Ian with wine, but just as she is about to make a move, Bradley stumbles in.

Clare’s plan is foiled for now!

The next day Ian thanks Clare for helping with the catering but says he doesn’t know how to show his gratitude.

She teases: “I’m sure you’ll think of something,” and kisses him!

Clare invites Ian over to Dot’s place again. During a candlelit dinner, she tries to lead him astray. Will Ian cheat on Jane?

“Clare is a bit of a tramp!” says Gemma. “She flaunts her sexuality to get money.”

My goodness, Ian is as daft as Tanya. Where I come from, one has to have a masseuse license in an establishment like that to do massages. Also, he knows Clare from back in the day, what the hell does she know about catering? The best she can do is dole it out at an affair, and any old slapper can do that. No need to talk it over at dinner. I'm just thinking either Ian is really a dim bulb, or EE thinks it's viewers are. LOL!!

Ian's economic standing always amazes me. He goes from flop house to sitting pretty awfully fast. As I can state from experience, it doesn't hurt to inherit you house!

I am so not liking Claire, everytime I see her she reminds me of a hooker. When she was giving Ian the massage I felt sick, Ian bare chested, YUCK!

I am finding this irritating not because of the character but more the plot. I am so sick and tired of them doing this with the character of Ian. It's like a broken record.

I totally agree with you Sky. Besides I like Jane with Ian, she puts him in his place and doesn't take his crap.

I do as well. I enjoy them together and the actors honestly work so well together it would be a shame. It's just boring having Ian having women problems again. Then after that he'll be arguing with the Mitchell's. Even though they had a truce for all of 5 minutes because Phil saved Peter's life. Ian was all smiles and sunshine and it looked like some change was coming but then suddenly it was the same boring old stuff again :bored:

This really isn't a new storyline as far as Ian's concerned --- nor with Dot. She always takes someone in out of the goodness of her heart then ends up getting screwed in the end.

I was thinking that as well eefan. It's the same thing for Dot as well. I mean how many times have we seen her do this? The only one I can think of that she took in that didn't screw her was Dennis, but he got killed

They just keep rehashing the same storyline for these characters and it's a bit much.

 Exactly what I was thinking Face! Only I was also recalling the time he poisoned Dot by putting something (aresenic?) in her ice cream.

Oh the good ol' days! I really miss Nick Cotton!

As for Claire & Ian -- is it too indelicate to say that it makes me want to vomit?

Not at all..... "puke" would have been indelicate, but vomit is ok
