I just found this episode of the sitcom written for Jim Davidson 'Up The Elephant And Round The Castle'. I wanted to see if Davidson was as crap as I thought he would be (check), but noticed in the info for this file that there's more than a few soap stars who appeared in it too.

In this episode (from 1984) you can see Sue Nicholls and Brian Capron (Gail's mass-murderer ex husband, I forget his name), off Corrie, but there were also appearances by Anita Dobson and John Bardon from Eastenders in other episodes. I really should be doing something more exciting on a Friday night, but there you go - a little bit of history!

I was watching an episode of Casualty here on BBC Canada and they had "Lauren" from EE on as a patient. We're about four years behind so she was much smaller.

Also was watching The Catherine Tate show last week and one of the guest actors was the guy who plays Mr. Massoud.

That's all I've come across, but then our UK tv is pretty limited to BBC Canada and the odd show on PBS.
