Cheers, Faceless. The clip sure contrasts with the previous article, which seems to sex-up the "how will she go" angle.

I wonder if she'll have a royal funeral. Perhaps the Queen will send a card...

yeah, there were a few places that tried to pre-empt the storyline, and they all seemed to think it would be something outrageous. The minute I saw Jack skipping back along the street from the pub I knew it was all over!

Me too (of course, you posting it gave me a big hint). :D I couldn't imagine Vera going in some dramatic way -- perhaps putting up a fight with thugs trying to hold up Roy's Rolls.

Farewell, Vera. The Olde Rectory won't be the same.

It was quite sad really. Poor Jack! How's he going to cope? He's had Vera doing everything for him for so long.

I'm glad they didn't do a really dramatic ending - Vera deserved a moment of dignity in her death.

I'll miss her.

Tastefully done, wonderfully acted. Brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye.

Farewell V

I thought it was a brilliant episode and felt so real, like you could feel the grief Jack, Tyrone, Molly and Paul were feeling. It was touching when Jack fixed Vera's hair and changed her shoes. A nice change from car crashes and head bashes.
