I have a bad feeling about this plot line, that either Jane is going to lose it or heaven forbid the tension between them turns sexual! :crazed: :wow:

I am hoping for sinister. I would love to see Jane really get him as well. It would make for good viewing.

I hate to say it but I am really starting to like Steven and he doesn't really seem like a bad kid, he's been great with Stacey and when he realized the damage he caused Jane he did stop pestering them. I think he's just a messed up kid that is trying to get his life back together.

I still can't get past that (1) Steven made Lucy think their mother, Cindy, was still alive and Lucy is fine with that, (2) Steven kidnapped Ian and Ian is fine with that and (3) Steven shot Jane and Ian & Lucy are fine with that. I can't believe that Jane hasn't just said "fuck off" to the lot of them!

I'm thinking the same thing Kezza.

I understand he has issues but in all honesty I don't think they are being addressed and this will only lead to problems.

Fully agree with all your points! I think the story line is completely stupid - especially how Ian turned from kidnapped and locked up Steven-hater to "God we all love Steven now" person

This is how I feel about the Stacy character. She's been a little pest since she came to the Square but because it's two years later, people forget what the little slag has already done, and what she's capable of in the future. What's up with that?

I guess for me with Stacey the change has happened over time. Not over night. I mean we have forgiven Billy and he was a terrible abuser. Or shall we forget how terrible Dennis *sigh* was when he got to the Square. He was terrible. But he died with me loving him! :cry: :lol:

True, Stacey started out as a Janine Butcher wanna-be, and I agree that she has mellowed out a bit since her debut.

The other aspect about Steven's character that truly disturbs me (referring to a previous post) is his mental instability. The guy seriously needs some counseling and Jane is right that he will "hang" himself if left untreated.

If Jane is truly hoping to "get her family back", she should be pushing for Steven to get treatment, since she personally knows the consequences of his unstable mind.

First it was Ian, then Jane, almost Stacey (practically kidnapped and almost set afire in the Arches)....who'll be next?
