Corrie: schedule change

Post by faceless »

Coronation Street moves from Sunday to Friday

In a change to its scheduling, ITV has decided to show Coronation Street twice on Fridays (at 7.30pm and 8.30pm) instead of having the Sunday episode.

According to an ITV press release, this is partly in response to viewer feedback, so that both Emmerdale and Corrie are shown on fewer nights without losing the number of episodes. It's also an attempt to make weekends feel "special". The change will take place from mid-January.

I like this idea - I get Sundays off!

well I must admit it felt a bit strange not to watch Corrie last night - even though I enjoyed being able to be out and about, I still felt like I should be doing something. I think I've become like Schrodinger's dog or Einstein's cat, you know what I mean... haha

I kind of felt the same way, but really did enjoy the double feature on Friday. I watch them in the mornings with my breakfast....and yes, Monday's was just a bit off. Sure I could have saved one, but couldn't wait.
