EE: Deano spoiler

Post by carmelina »

Bad boy Deano Wicks is chained to a prison guard as he helps carry his father's coffin.

Deano (Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Matt Di Angelo, 20) is let out of jail for the funeral after dad Kevin dies in a spectacular car smash.

EastEnders viewers will see the accident tomorrow when Kevin (Phil Daniels, 49, below) loses control of one of Phil Mitchell's dodgy motors.

At the funeral the hearse breaks down and Kevin's daughter Carly (Kellie Shirley, 26) tries in vain to fix it.

So Deano carries the coffin with Steven Beale (Aaron Sidwell, 19) and Darren Miller (Charlie G Hawkins, 16).

An insider said: "It is an extremely emotional day."

Deano is doing time for trying to frame Sean Slater for a vicious attack on shopkeeper Patrick Trueman.

:( This is going to be a sad story indeed. I am upset that Kevin is being killed off as I really loved the character.

I really enjoyed Kevin's character and will miss him as well. But you'd think they wouldn't have to chain Deano to a guard, for heaven's sake. It's not as like he's a violent criminal, and he sure as heck can't run too far with a coffin on his shoulder. But I suppose it makes for better tv.

No ef' it's what happens in real life.. those lucky enough to go out to a funeral are handcuffed to a guard...
