FANS can kiss goodbye to cheating Max Branning when he flees Walford for a month to escape the backlash over his affair with daughter-in-law Stacey.
The love rat will disappear from the Square early next year as estranged wife Tanya plots revenge.
Max has been written out because actor Jake Wood, who plays him, is going on paternity leave.
The 35-year-old is expecting his second child with wife Alison.
Jake, who already has a daughter, two-year-old Amber, cannot wait to become a dad again.
In an exclusive chat with the Daily Star he said: “Alison is due next month so I will be away for about a month on paternity leave.
“It comes at a good time because Max is getting grief over his affair so he will disappear for a while.”
The actor also praised co star Lacey Turner, 19, who plays Stacey.
He said: “Lacey is just an amazing actress.”
