You know they paired her and Lucy as best mates and rightly so. While she isn't as terrible as Lucy "Mini-Cindy" Beale she is a right little cow with her snotty comments and "I'm better than anyone else" attitude. She's another one I would love to slap.

The two of those girls need a nice long stint at Brat Camp. Society is going down the tubes it seems. That's just my usual pessimistic view....LOL!!

So true eefan! She got off easy! I can't believe Tanya defended her daughter doing that. And you're so right Pirty, they both need to just be put in line because their parents sure as hell can't seem to do it.

Yikes! My bum hurts just thinking about the punishment I would get if I stole my mom's credit card. Then because Max feels guilty due to his naughty affair with Stacey he gives Lauren the camera, oooh she is going to end up giving Lucy a run for the "kid who needs to be smacked the most" award. Tanya needs to toughen up a bit and be more of a mum and less of a mate.

Max really was just reinforcing her bad behaviour by giving her the camera, wasn't he? But then I guess he's got bigger issues at the moment.

You're both so right. Tanya is so worried about her kids liking her that she rarely even disciplines or she just gives in. And Max just feels guilty for being the cheating prat that he is that he spoils the kids in hopes that they will still like him when the shit hits the fan.

It's hard for me to believe that Abbi and Lauren are from the same gene pool. Abbi is such a considerate kid and Lauren, well, since she started menstruating she's gotten pretty mean!

Me neither Spurs. To me, it seems like the new actress is acting out of character of the old Lauren. Yes, kids change as they learn more about themselves and grow as adults, but she seemed to have a personality change as well. This happened with the replacement for Sam. The replacement for Sam was a more likeable Sam than the original. Different personalities though.

I am surprised at how much she looks like the original Lauren. While I like the fact that she's not a meek as the first Lauren, I'm not sold.

I supposed the shock of her being so much more outgoing than the original Lauren is hazing my current judgment. I suppose time will tell, if the new Lauren actress cuts the mustard. ;-)

I agree with you both Sky and pirty --- she's just not cutting it for me. I like that she's more "assertive" shall we say, than the "old" Lauren, but I think the writers are trying to turn her into the "bad girl" now that Lucy is gone. I can't really make up my mind about her just yet.

The old Lauren was a lot classier. She dressed better and had awesome hair!
