It's very strange that they'd publicise this at at all - what's the point in that? It's like shouting as you go off on holiday 'Oh no, we left the doors and windows open, I do hope nobody breaks in!'.

yep.. v. strange .. especially the grounding of planes which can't carry nuclear missiles (since the original story is "were are our nukes"). And why announce it ahead ? Like the police telling a crook they they expect to raid their hideout.
