Bullseye's Bowen heads for Rovers

We always love to hear news about famous faces appearing in our favourite soaps, but the latest celebrity is undoubtedly one of the most popular. Ex-Bullseye host Jim Bowen is whispered to be among the leading contenders for a stint in Corrie, which is just as well, as he's a huge fan of the long-running serial.

The veteran entertainer is no stranger to acting, he's already had a guest role in Peter Kay's hit comedy Phoenix Nights.

I'll be surprised if this happens considering Bowen was sacked from his daily local radio show on BBC (Yorkshire?) for making racist comments.

I am also surprised he is being considered , mainly because I thought he was dead
