I'm not so sure he's better than that - any roles I've seen him in tend to have him playing a cockerney. He's a good actor, but where's the range, daaaarling?

how many movies does sean connery not have a scotish accent ? answer one , finding forrester , wheres the range darling in the worlds best loved actor? granted my liking for daniels is proberbly mostly based on quadrophenia hardly a recent work

It's not really the accent, but the characters he plays - they all seem to be cockney wide-boy types. I've never thought Connery was that good though, but on thinking did he not play an Irish cop in The Untouchables?
