I thought Private Eye was a joke magazine - that sounded pretty serious.

I thought Private Eye was left-wing .. above article wouldn't be out of place in any right wing / neo-con paper ..

Private eye is rather an odd organ. Sometimes they seem very left wing, and other times they seem very far from it.

Still, the point about Tony Blair giving knighthoods to people who were publically in favour of killing Salman Rushdie for a book he wrote is something that I am glad at least one paper/mag is challenging.
