What is he thinking? Okay so he's smitten by Janice but to offer a loan and not want a buy into the business? After all he clearly knows that Janice is going to give Leanne the money, when does anyone question her knowledge to open a restaurant, we know she can lay a client, but at a minimum can she lay a table?

in real life who asks can someone run a cafe/ restaurant people do it everyday just because the family say they are a good cook , just go to Spain and eat at one of the many terrible eating establishments

The previous owner and head chef didn't seem Kosher, I think she's headed for disaster

I think you are right Cori. They were giving her looks as if they are up to something. I didn't like their interactions in the social setting, and why Leanne didn't pick up on this bad vibe is beyond me. The chef wasn't very friendly, considering she could dump his ass to the curb and put in her own chef. Waiters come a dime a dozen too, and they didn't seem that keen either. Maybe the whole thing is a scam.
