EE: Jim's romantic evening

Post by Skylace »

Jim's romantic evening for Dot was so sweet. I like seeing the tender moments between these two. And Jim provides such wonderful comic relief (like when he lit both cigarettes). They truly are the best couple on the Square and that's one of the reasons I hope he is well enough to be on the show again. He and June Brown add so much to the show and they are both brilliant actors. I was just giggling each time they were on screen last night.

He adds just the right touch of comedy and humour to the program. I certainly will miss him if he can't return to the show.

I think my favourite moment with him was a few years ago when he sucked the bird up the vaccuum

Yeah, he's a cool old dude. Hope he gets back on his feet soon, otherwise we'll be missing him.

The Jim character is delightful. When he lit the two cigarettes I was mindful of the Rat Pack. Frank Sinatra, Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin; too suave.
