EE: Jane's secret

Maybe you remember, there was a strange incident during Ian and Jane's wedding, when Jane's mom called her Leslie. It turns out Eastenders is going to make a storyline out of it and we'll know what's really behind all that.

Jane is living under a new identity (as suggested by the revelation she was known as Lesley previously). She has been given a new identity because she has been convicted of a murder as a child. It will transpire that she was responsible for the death of a young child, and when Walford residents find out they will know who she is (so it will have been a notorious case like Mary Bell etc).

Sounds interesting.

Does sound interesting. I figured they would do something with it eventually, but I wasn't thinking that.

I honestly had forgotten about the whole thing of her being called Lesley..... I have to say that it sounds like it could be a very good storyline. Dare I say it though... poor Ian, he just never seems to have a nice, happy, normal relationship.

I think Ian deserves a break. If you look at him over the years it's actually the relationships he's been in and the problems that he had with his father that made him the insecure guy that he is today. He constantly feels like he has to defend himself so he is an over protective ass of his ego.
