Man tries to pay tab with marijuana, police say

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City police arrested a man who tried to pay a store clerk with marijuana, officials said Wednesday.
Michael Lee Autry, 27, of Bel Air, allegedly walked into the 7-11 store on 94th Street and pulled out a bag of marijuana to pay for a bag of chips and three bottles of Gatorade.
The clerk told Autry he would not accept marijuana as payment and told him he was calling police.
Autry then smashed one of the bottles on the counter, breaking the bottle and spilling the drink on the floor, police said. He then ran from the store, leaving the merchandise and marijuana behind.
Autry was later found hiding in the dunes behind the Pyramid Condominium.
Autry was placed under arrest and charged with misdemeanor theft and possession of marijuana.

I believe The Worker is dumber for not taking the pot and selling it for a decent return. Of course the article doesn't state the size of the bag, so if we are talking a dime bag, then The "Fool" is still smarter as the value of the bag was probably less than the bottles of gatorade. Just my opinion!
