Corrie car crash!

CORRIE factory boss Paul Connor sits fatally injured after smashing his Merc into a lorry.

The dramatic scenes in the ITV soap — filmed yesterday in Trafford Park, Manchester — are the climax of an amazing plot twist.

Paul, played by Sean Gallagher, 40, kidnaps Leanne Battersby, who has been dating his brother Liam, after discovering she is a hooker and not a sales exec.

Paul bundled her into his boot and set off on his drive of death.

But Leanne, played by Jane Danson, 27, suffers only a broken rib.

Now who would want to live on that street your chances of being murdered, your wife having 17 affairs, you daughter having it away with every guy in the street under 70 and you getting hired, fired, re hired, re fired then having a fatal accident in the factory are just astronomical .

thats another thing its a cheap place to live whenever house prices are mentioned they seem to be at 1980's prices , didnt the brothers buy the factory for something like £150,000 total building, stock , the lot? Must admit this is starting to sound like it may be made up and not real after all?

So it all came to a climax this week - Paul snuffs it, Leannes dirty little secret gets out.

I thought the whole thing was done in typically excelenet Corrie fashion.

Leanne was especially god this week too. If ever she leaves 'the cobbles' again she's proved she can act at least.
