US CO2 emissions 'violate rights'

I was just wandering what everybody thought about this news thread? I thought it was quite entertaining to think that some Inuit tribe thinks it will be able to make the US move its stance on CO2 emission, i.e. make a difference where the Kyoto protocol failed!

Interesting that they're taking this approach, but I really am doubtfull that it will have any effect. And even if it did, this quote from the story, kind of says it all:
However, the US has not ratified the convention, so a ruling in favour of the Inuit would be largely symbolic.
