how to pay the taxman

Post by Marcella-FL »

Fingers crossed this isn't just smoke and mirrors! I could really use the tax relief!!! Our taxes tripled! in the past 2 years! Add the insurance premiums to that and we pay almost 8 grand a year!

... hey! I've got a great idea! ... how about getting the muli national companies to chip in, rather than stashing the cash in off-shore bank accounts, ... I'm sure we would all pay less tax then.

:thumbsup2:

That would sure be something if it was true! The rate of taxation these days is horrible.... really bad here in Ontario. Just got my T4 slip from my employer and what I paid in tax is digusting in my opinion. Don't mind doing my share, but c'mon!

Canadians (I am one) may not like paying taxes, but at we do get something for our $. Granted, it may not be good value for $, but it's something.

I'd be happy if corporations paid their share. Ever notice how corporate tax rates go down while personal income tax rates go up and it gets little traction in the press?
