EASTENDERS

Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri - BBC1

IT'S a heart-breaking Valentine's Day for Bradley when he realises dumping Stacey was a huge mistake.

He shouts up at her bedroom window, begging her to take him back.

Stacey tells him he is too late but she doesn't mention that his dad Max is in her bed at the time!

"Bradley is heartbroken," says Charlie Clements, who plays him. "He still loves her.

"If he discovered Stacey is seeing his dad he would be totally destroyed."

Bradley starts the week still happily going out with Lydia. Stacey spots the pair snogging from across the Square.

Later, in The Vic, Bradley apologises to Stacey for kissing Lydia in front of her.

Stacey claims she doesn't care. But when Bradley starts to play darts badly she joins in.

They're as hopeless as each other!

"That breaks the ice and he suggests they have a drink together," adds Charlie. "They enjoy each other's company. Bradley's feelings for Stacey come flooding back.

"She's funny and natural and not tied up with her career unlike Lydia."

Lydia rings Bradley, but he rejects the call as he is having such a good time. Instead, he gets some chips with Stacey.

"They reminisce about their good times," says Charlie.

"He walks her to her house and tells her he's had a really nice time. She agrees and kisses him on the cheek before going in. Bradley has fallen for Stacey all over again."

Next day, Bradley tells Max that Lydia is not the girl for him and mentions Stacey's name.

Guilty Max encourages him to make a go of things with Lydia. But Bradley doesn't listen.

Later, over their Valentine's dinner, he tells Lydia it's all over between them.

"Lydia is upset and just storms out," says Charlie. "It's a bit harsh, but Bradley goes round to ask Stacey to take him back."

He shouts up at Stacey's bedroom window that he still loves her.

But Stacey comes to the window and tells him that it's too late.

"It's not exactly Romeo and Juliet!" smiles Charlie.

But unknown to Bradley, his father is in bed with Stacey at the same time!

"Stacey later lies that she hasn¹t got anyone else she just wants to be on her own," reveals Charlie.

"Bradley is still gutted, but he thinks at least there is a chance. He still wants to convince her they should get back together."

looks like a change of focus there which is really good, because the endless May-Rob-Dawn triangle really started to bug me last week.
