BBC celebrates Babs birthday

Barbara Windsor's 70th birthday is to be celebrated by a BBC show airing later this year.

Barbara At 70 will look back at the life and career of the EastEnders favourite, who plays Peggy Mitchell.

A source told The Sun: "Barbara is undoubtedly one of Britain’s best-loved actresses so we thought it would only be fitting to mark her 70th year."

Windsor turns 70 on August 6.

She looks pretty darned good for 70. I certainly wouldn't mind looking as good as her at that age.

I think she has had some work done. But honestly I think the most of it is her attitude. She's always very animated.

I kind of figured that she'd had some work done, but I don't think she looks really "fake" how some people do when they've had plastic surgery. Whatever she's done, she looks pretty darn good. But I agree that most of it is due to her attitude.

She does look wonderful and I hope I look that good at her age.
