He did it. We knew he did. We just didn't know when and how.

I felt a bit sorry for him. He was treated worse than dog shit by Pauline, but what he did was terrible. Not only did he hit the woman over the head with a frying pan (granted she did the same to Arthur, which was a bit ironic. Maybe it was him striking back from the beyond) but he tried to put Sonia in the frame for it. A young woman who has a life (well kind of) a head of her and small child.

I'm glad to see him go as he became nothing more than a punching bag for Pauline and was pretty boring. I liked him a lot more at the start.

Sadly, I think this means we're going to see a bit more of Bert :thumbsdown:

I haven't watched it yet, but I'll be glad to see the end of him. He was kind of a wimpy character in my opinion. I think Wendy Richards was right when she said that Pauline wouldn't have gotten remarried...... it seems that Joe never really had a decent storyline and I think the writers got the whole thing wrong.

I still think it was a silly reason for her to leave. I mean, it's not like anyone stays married on the square for long :lol:

I liked him at first but he got so boring.
