EE: Evil Stella

Something that's just been gnawing at me about Stella. She's too sweet, too perfect. What's her major flaw? I personally think that she must have a pretty nasty streak underneath it all. I keep going back to the look she gave Ben when she sat on the whoopie cushion. There was barely a grin there and a bit of an evil glint in the eye. There is a lot more to her than what we have seen.

I think you're right on that one, Sky. But I think they've been playing her low-key until this whole Pauline thing blows over a bit.... maybe we'll start to see a little more about her now that she's actually moved in with Phil.

Just an FYI --- in real life, she's actually Emma Thompson's sister.

Wow! I didn't know that! Just like Big Mo in real life is Gary Oldman's sister. Looks like some acting family ties there!

I personally like Stella. I like the fact that she makes things a bit uneasy when she's onscreen. There's this subtle undercurrent with her. I couldn't imagine a lawyer being that sweet!

Of course, any lawyer for the Mitchell's couldn't be that nice.

I am thinking she is going to start a war against little Ben. Try to get him sent away to a private school or something.

I thought she looked familiar...! I just watched a film called "Persuasion" on BBC America and realised she was Stella, and I know I've seen her in loads of other stuff.

After reading the scans that Face posted, I can see that you're right. It will sure be interesting to see just how far it goes.

What's going to be a bit weird is they are going to be doing stuff to each other. What type of adult gets into a situation like that with a child?

I, for one, just don't see Phil with a character like Stella. What's the attraction there? Perhaps he's trying to date a "nice" girl (well, maybe she' won't be

) instead of the strong, forceful types he's hooked up with in the past.

I've wondered about the attraction myself. And it really came out of no where to be honest. Guess he was feeling sorry for her.

I think they'll big a big arguement and Ben will hit Stella over the head with an ashtray, just like in the good olde days when Steve Owen was around and murdered Saskia
