no return for Frank Butcher

Mike Reid aka Frank Butcher has reportedly turned down massive offers from the BBC to return to EastEnders as he is sick to death of bloody Albert Square. Frank made his first return to the Square one Christmas after he disappeared; he has since been back and has romanced his old flame Pat as well as marrying the Queen Vic?s land lady Peggy Mitchell. However, enough is enough and actor Reid has told the Beeb NO! for the last time.

His agent David Hahn said: ?He has had repeated offers to go back but he just won?t do it. That period of his life is over. The last time he filmed for them he got stuck on the motorway for half a day. He rang me and said: ?I now know why I left the fucking show. Never again.??

Never liked him in it, the old cockney wide boy stuff was naff....
