EE: Mum fired over leak

Martha Ross - mother to Ross brothers, Jonathan and Paul - has been fired from EastEnders after a Christmas storyline leak.

The 67-year-old extra, who has played a stallholder on Walford's Bridge Street market for some years, disclosed her day's filming to son Paul, who subsequently revealed the plot on his LBC radio show.

A spokeswoman for the programme told DS: "Martha was in breach of her contract. Following what was said on Paul Ross' broadcast, she was asked not to return to filming."
