My Favourite Podcasts

Post by khanie »

Here are some of my favourite podcasts - I'm sure most are familiar with them but you might not know them all!!

Andrew Collins and Richard Herrin's topical-ish weekly podcast (one of the first)
https://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/collingsherrin/

Also the internet only stand up and sketch show from Richard with Richard is joined on stage by Dan Tetsell, Emma Kennedy and Christian Reilly

The Sony Award winning Answer Me This - I had a question answered on this and they sent me a free book!!
https://answermethis.wordpress.com/

Perfect 10 with Phill Jupitus and Phil Wilding
https://uspcontent.libsyn.com/

Trev and Simon from 1980's Kids tv show Going Live do a very irregular podcast
https://trevandsimon.com/category/podcast/

And of course the good old BBC - favourites of mine are Rhod Gilbert's saturday show on BBC Radio Wales
https://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/rhod

Adam and Joe saturday mornings on 6 Music
https://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/adamandjoe

and the rotation between The News Quiz and The Now Show
https://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/fricomedy

and 7 Day Sunday with Chris Addison, Sarah Millican and Andy Zalzman - series now finished unfortunately.

And staying with Andy Zaltzman, The Bugle (iTunes only)

I've tried a few others but these are the ones downloaded every week without fail!!!

Here's a pretty good one - The Skeptic's Guide To The Universe. It's not comedy, but it's quite entertaining.

And Sunday's Supplements:

Here's Greg Proops podcast. It's been going for about 8 months but I've only just found out about it.

Also, Richard Herring's AIOTM (As it Occurs To Me)

Darn you, faceless. Image Another podcast too good to pass over. At >300 episodes to date, this'll take me a good while.

Some of my favourites: Enjoy!

All types of wonkiness, crispy and broken beats

A blend of deep futuristic beats and grooves.
Beats from the past and here and now that still sound fresh. Its all about the fusion of sound!
