While this is a great thing that happened, I think we are a LONG way off, if ever, of repeating this. The person who donated the stem cells, had some sort of genetic "abberation" that we have no way of testing for, or determing, at this time. So, it may or may not happen again if another stem cell transplant were done. With the expense and complexity of these transplants, it's unlikely that this will ever become a "treatment" option in the future (or at least the near future).
