I used to live in Panama City. Stuff like this just doesn't happen in PC. It is a typical small Southern town during this time of year (it is a crazy mad house during Spring Break and the summer)...I am sure the folks that live there are shocked.

I heard she tried to sell it on ebay (with the proceeds to go to charity) but they wouldn't let her put it up for auction.

I am not sure where she sold it or who bought it or what happened with the money, I only saw the headline online. Fair play if she gave the $$ to charity...
