Little Britain to go american?

Post by faceless »

Little Britain stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams have signed up with showbiz guru Simon Fuller to try to crack America. Simon, 46 ? who managed the Spice Girls and came up with TV talent show Pop Idol ? has spent months wooing Matt, 32, and David, 34.

A source said: ?He is determined to help them achieve the same success across the pond as they have done here with Little Britain.?

Millionaire Simon?s 19 Management firm will now launch a charm offensive in the States.

I've no idea if they could get any success over there considering how parochial their comedy is. But good luck to them anyway...

I think if they were allowed to be and do what they did in Britain, that Americans would like it, but I know already that they would insist on watering down their humor, and it just won't work if they mess with their formula for success.
