I have a theory that the "get a kiss storyline" for Janine and Ryan is quite a simple plot device created by the writers to complete the following scenario:

Ryan has no clue he is the father of Stacey's bouncing baby "Branning" and by having them share a kiss and get some sparks going this will push them together and tear them apart when he learns the truth, leading to a dramatic ending where Stacey leaves with the baby. AND! We all know Lucas is insane, and has some serious issues when it comes to women with loose morals. With Janine constantly pushing herself at him it will lead to him going completely cuckoo for cocoa puffs and bring a climax and ending to this murdering mans storyline.

Seems like a plausible way for them to play it out and give exit to those that we know are leaving. Very well thought out. I am with ya!

Absolutely agree... I have a hunch that Lucas will try to murder Denise, but not get away with it (or at least hurt her somehow).

I also think that as soon as Stacey leaves, it will be the beginning of Kat and Alfie coming back -- seems a likely time, especially since Charlie is also leaving. Who else will fill up those endless rooms in the Slater house???

I agree with your theory, except I think maybe Ryan will leave with Stacey, or maybe you already know that the actor has a longer contract than she? lol! lol!! I like your theory though, and it is very plausible.

Yes, EE is a bit obvious at times. I'm thinking maybe the shock of finding out that Stacey's baby is not Bradley's makes Charlie have a heart attack. Imagine Max's reaction when he finds out...maybe he threatens Stacey to leave by saying he'll shop her to the police.

I hope Ryan doesn't leave. He's one of the nicest lookers in there at the moment...and I think his character has a lot of hidden depth.

Max already knows the baby isn't Bradley's. That came out back during the whole big "who killed Archie" thing.

Baby can't be Archies, that came out a while back because Stacey was told about how Archie was sterile due to his chemo. That's how Stacey figured out it was Ryan's.
