I'm watching Ross Noble's travelogue about Australia and he's been to this place called 'The Principality of Hutt River', which turns out to be an area near Perth which is making a legal claim to United Nations for recognition as a state. The page titled 'Royal Rhetoric' is worth reading.
It made me think of that Danny Wallace show 'How to Start Your Own Country'.
