The birth of baby George has proven again that, yes, EE can do comedy. I was laughing out loud as Patrick was taking the air from Heather, Peggy and Pat getting drunk in the ice cream truck was too funny and Heather focusing by listing George Micheal's record releases
I also loved the moment with Heather and George when she crumpled the picture up
This episode had a great balance in my book. Could watch it again.
I loved the scenes with Peggy and Pat...When Peggy made the phone call to Phil and Pat got on the line "Phil, this is your Aunt Patricia..." I was laughing so hard I had to rewind. They really are good together.
It is nice that Heather will finally have a real relationship, not one with a demeening mother, a loser best friend, a fake husband, or a tabloid pic. If Shirley doesn't f%ck it up, they should be just fine.
When Heather's water broke, the first thing I thought of was "Oh no, Patrick's shoes!" You know how stylish he likes to be, but I am happy that he never mentioned them...I would need the oxygen if I were him as well!
That WAS a lovely scene with Heather and baby George. I'm looking forward to seeing how they move the story forward with Shirley in it. WHEN will we find out who the dad is? Or am I being really obtuse?
They gave us an odd choice of potential fathers. I was kind of hoping it was Gary's - that way, Heather could have done all the you're the father stuff with him and we wouldn't have even seen it on-screen. Would have been interesting to see Dawn's reaction though if it had come out before they left. Ha ha.
