Charlie and Brenda

OMG - Is anyone else jumping for joy that this mind numbingly boring storyline is over?? Charlie used to be sort of the solid (no pun intended) part of the Slater family. While Kat and everyone else were plowing their lives into brick walls, Charlie was always there to pick up the pieces, but with all of the chaos over, he had nothing to do. They never gave him any story lines that could sustain him and he became this boring character whose only line was "Let's go over to the Vic for a drink".

I never liked Brenda. She seemed like a holier than thou, look down her nose kinda character. She never had any lines other than "Charlie we are through" and "I'm sorry, Charlie"

I am glad they are gone. I wonder how much more Slater family there is? I wonder who will show up next...

I'm so with you Spurs. I loved Charlie, I did, but he just became pointless. And as for Brenda *GAG*

Twirls - Charlie has left with Brenda to go live, uh, somewhere...some island, I can't remember exactly where. She was leaving with her brother and his family and in her spineless, scared of her own shadow way, was unable to tell Charlie, she just broke up with him for no reason. Mo finally dragged it out of her and she fessed up to Charlie, who decided she was just too exciting to live without and moved wth her. Oh well, one of those times on EE when changes are aplenty!
