This was an eye-opener for me. I'd always felt that GG's position on Tibet was wrong, but I didn't know the facts. This essay on the subject fills in a lot of gaps. One of the most notable points was that the Dali Lama had supported Pinochet against the criminal charges he should face for his crimes against humanity.
